What people are saying.

  • Mom of J.C.

“My son started services well before he turned 2, and we are now in pre-k, so I’ve worked with many providers in the EI/CPSE landscape. Emily is hands down, the best provider we have had. While her work with my son was absolutely phenomenal (he would follow her right off a cliff if asked, and would try things with her he wouldn’t attempt with others, all while grinning from ear to ear), it was the simultaneous and effortless parent coaching that came free of charge that left the greatest impression—I am a better mother to my son because of his (our) time with Emily. Some of it you observe—what it is ACTUALLY supposed to look like when people say “child led” (if you haven’t seen it, it’s absolutely beautiful by the way)—some of it you don’t—all of a sudden, my kid is willing to copy and can hold a crayon! And look! He’s not sketched out by slimy things any more!—and some (a lot) of it is patient, non-judgmental thought-partnering with an absolute expert who really, genuinely adores your kid and is deeply invested in his growth.

We were heartbroken to lose Emily to well-deserved brighter pastures (he STILL asks to go to her “house” though he hasn’t been a regular patient in well over a year), but now that she is available to be part of my kid’s (and my!) growth indefinitely, we will be first in line.

If you have a special needs child and you want to learn how to support and work WITH them instead of pushing AGAINST them, you literally cannot make a better investment.”

“Emily was instrumental in providing mentorship to me as a new practitioner. She was passionate and available and supportive and she just knows her stuff!”
